Seeing these guys live brings a whole new meaning and perspective to what would be considered the usual rock concert. With tons of crowd interaction and stage antics and hell even bringing kids up on the stage to glorify, puts Five Finger Death Punch up on a platform and showcases their band in an arena that separates themselves from the rest … creating a market and genre demographic of their own. It’s brilliant marketing to say the least, and guess what? It works!! Are they the best band? No not really, but it’s not about that. What they do best is grab the audience attention, hold onto it and give them what they crave. The fans freakin’ love it, and quite frankly, so did I … and I wasn’t their biggest fan until the live show. They somehow gained my respect and turned me into a fan … subliminally. Any band that can do that is genius in my opinion!!
