Music fans love seeing Cinderella stories, and there’s about to be one unfolding right now. 2019 promises to be a good year for the band Joyous Wolf, not to take away from their stellar 2018 and the beginning of their rise to the bigger stages after being signed to Roadrunner Records at the end of 2017.

So lets go back to where it all started … Joyous Wolf formed as a Rock band from Southern California in 2014 by vocalist Nick Reese, guitarist Blake Allard, bassist Greg Braccio, and drummer Robert Sodaro. In their own words, their early jam sessions would yield the foundation of what Joyous Wolf has become. Fusing together influences ranging from Heavy Metal to Delta Blues. Joyous Wolf creates an expressive, high-energy fingerprint that separates themselves from their contemporaries in the realm of Modern
Rock.

This brings us to their live show which was basically unheard of until the 2017 touring season which brought them to light with their impressive performance with Reese tearing up the stage in a Chris Robinson / Eddie Vedder mashed up kinda style … and let me tell you it’s amazing to see what a body can do when you’re in the moment. Couple this with amazing the guitar riffs and shreds of Blake Allard along with the sweet low end of Greg
Braccio and Robert Sodaro’s thunderous drums rounding it all out, and you got yourself a concert worth seeing and writing about.

Roadrunner Records just released a new Joyous Wolf video rendition of “Mississippi Queen” which has gained them even more momentum and showcases the bands direction and stage quality and sound!! In the end, I have to say … WOW! You need to see this show, it will leave you speechless, and as a support band new on the major tour circuit, they are giving the headliner a run for their money, making this one kick ass rock bill.
