Quite the accomplishment for new rockers American Grim … New rocker seems kind of weird to say if you know the band cuz they’ve been around the block a few times honing in their sound. But eerily familiar as a few of their tracks have been heard and televised during MMA’s World Series of Fighting events. Eventually finding their way into the hard core brains of metal / rock fans.
I first worked with them shooting promo a few years back at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas for Rocktagon Worldwide Music and Entertainment One … Loved the shoot, loved the band and went back to NorCal where I live. Ironically, I’d work with them once again unexpectedly at the Rock Into Spring Music Fest in Las Vegas where for the first time I witnessed them live, and shot them live as well and ended up in publication.
Well as it happened to be, I’d find myself working with them a third time flying out to New Jersey and once again shooting promo, this time for their upcoming CD titled “Ultra Black” which featured the newly released track Nightmare out on video, and this my friends is what it’s all about! Nightmare was released a month ago and just reached One Million views and seems to gain 10k to 20k views a day, and in my book that’s pretty feakin’ impressive!
This band stays close to my heart simply because I’ve worked with American Grim several times, I’ve watched their struggles, I’ve watched them over-come them, and finally … I’ve watched them achieve what most bands will only dream of, success!! American Grim holds a few announcements for the very near future which will mention tour dates as well a few other surprises. When I received the text message that American Grim ranked up at the #2 spot on VEVO’s best new rock videos 2019, I just smiled because I realized the amount of work and energy that went into it all, and I’m proud to say that I couldn’t have worked with a better band!!
So … having said, I’m wishing much success to American Grim, and you can bet I’ll be there when they do announce the tour dates.
